It's literally the best-case scenario (on nearly all fronts) that he could have hoped for in reality.
Walt was an ego maniac but he was also sort of a realist. It's basically his plan as he would have envisioned it playing out, without a hitch, knowing everything that had already transpired. Anything crazy like skipping off to the Cayman Islands with Skyler, Flynn and Holly would have been a nice thought but would have been way too much of a departure to make sense here.
Like I said, I think it's intentionally sort of ambiguous to allow for debate, so in order to work it needed to remain grounded in semi-reality.
