114191, I definitely felt a lot of things happening because it would be quick.

all of a sudden the show felt like it was in a hurry; maybe just a byproduct of its iconic fast pace finally having nowhere else to turn. it didn't help that most of the predictions getting plopped around places I ready on the internet ended up being pretty accurate this one last time. as someone that doesn't sit around thinking about what might happen, it stunk a bit to see a lot of stuff I figured were misguided guesses as usual.

the first half of the episode felt pretty typically great, though. the encounter at the Schwartz house at first felt like the acknowledgement that this was a fan service episode (after the flashbacks and the Badger/Skinny Pete scene) and then quickly became the highlight of the show. loved the pan shot to reveal Walt in the house even if it made the ABQPD look like clowns even more than the Nazis.

I was really entertained, but definitely let down that this episode ended the series in such a classic western fashion. I remember some small part of me being really disappointed when Walt winced as he was lying on top of Jesse, accepting the magic bullet that'd pull all the real drama out of the room.

But maybe I'm just not willing to say goodbye.
