I don't want to give away too much from the film cause its better to go in not knowing too much, but this easily rivals X and Do The Right Thing as Spike's best film. The way the characters were fully developed made up for the mess Spike made with Bamboozled. Don't know if its fair to compare the two since its not 100% fair to use an artist's past work to measure their current shit, but this was thorough. The way the characters were developed kind of reminds me of the way X developed Malcolm X's character to the point you somewhat felt you knew Malcom...but to a somewhat lesser extent since the movie dealt with more characters. I dunno, if peoples want me to reveal more, I will, but its better to go see the movie without knowing to much. Definately worth the 10 bucks I paid to see it.
