All he said was he was inspired by Nolan making a dark film, which in no way means it copied it. Nothing about "Bardem's character was inspired by the Joker" or orphans or any of that other nonsense you guys are spouting.
The Iron Man 3 trailer looks dark... are we to assume they bit Nolan too?
give me a break.
Mendes is thankful that the success of TDK films allowed him to make a darker Bond story. that's all it says.
