I mean, it seemed pretty apparent to everyone we saw the movie with.
I even rewatched both movies to make sure I wasn't "imagining influence."
But if you honestly can't see the similarities between the two - then man, you gotta let me know where you saw the movie, 'cause it clearly wasn't the same flick I saw.
Both movies open the same way.
Up until the train, the first chase sequence looks just like the chase scene in INCEPTION, after Leonardo Dicaprio talks to Tom Hardy.
The Shanghai casino looks the same as Ken Watanabe's dream house.
THE ISLAND OF CRUMBLING BUILDINGS.
Come on.
And this isn't on some "delving into where the two movies meet" shit.
This is literally 4 cats spotting it in the cinema as the movie's playing.
I'm not saying the new Bond wasn't good - it was good, I enjoyed it, it was fun.
But don't act like one didn't lift liberally from the other.
