I didn't say him having a twin was a problem, the question is why did he send him to the one person who could do what he wanted....when he didn't know that guy could actually pull it off.

and yes, I "got it", the movie beat that concept into our heads, and yes, it does ultimately make the ending uninteresting even as a self fulfilling prophecy, he's just a twin and possibly somewhat insane
