when bale's character goes to tie the knot, he starts to do the "safe" knot that michael caine's character tells him to do and then piper perabo gives him that "fuck this pussy shit, you and i both know i can get out of any knot so tie that crazy knot right now" look.

it was her fault and borden didn't deserve the blame when she asked for it.
