1)No, he had a twin the entire movie. That's why he admired the old Chinese magician who performed the goldfish bowl trick so much. 100% devotion to his art.

2)We don't know which is the original or which is the clone. If the original stays in the machine then the original dies in each of the 100 performances. If the original one is transported then the clone killed the "original" Jackman the first time he used the machine.

3)Not sure why the transported man did not appear, but maybe he heard the commotion when Borden passed Michael Cane character, or maybe he spotted him before hand, or maybe it was the last performance and he KNEW Border had to show up.

The question is why did Borden get convicted when he clearly tired to break the glass? Was it that the glass was broken by others (as seen with the walk with the judge) and they just lied on him??
