there's not many (maybe not any) other director who are in as much control of their movies as he is.

the fractured timeline thing has been done to death, but it's done so effortlessly and perfectly here that you don't even think about it.

and the tone and mood of the whole movie is *perfect*. i mean, absolutely spot-on.

all of the acting is amazing and the writing, except for a few clunky spots of exposition, is great.

one of my favorite movies in a while. it even made me look up tesla in wikipedia. now THAT is an interesting dude. anyone know if there have been any movies about his fued with edison?
