Note how white people (and every other kind of people) DID get tired of The Godfather trilogy, the Star Wars trilogy, the Back to the Future trilogy, the Matrix trilogy, the Saw series, the Jaws sequels, the Indiana Jones series, and the list goes on. Oh, and the FIRST in pretty much each of those cases is considered a CLASSIC (except for Saw.)

In each and every single one of those cases, the THIRD is considered the WORST, or in the case of Indiana Jones, the FOURTH is considered the worst, or in the case of SAW, they get considered shittier and shittier as they go. It's almost universally accepted when dealing in sequels and franchises that the FIRST is usually the BEST and interest generally declines over time.

Many people call Casino a lackluster retread of Goodfellas in that it smacks of been-there-done-that. Fuck that though - people who say that shit are really just attempting to hide the fact that they're sick and tired of those goddamn grease-ball Italians.
