It doesn't matter whether you hate or love those commercials because their point is to not charm you into buying their car. Most car commercials impress you by just showing cosmetic features. People are always say that they want a safe car. The commercials just illustrate how safe they believe their cars to be.

Notice how none of the passengers ever had a scratch on them. If there were truly a car that safe, so safe that you could get out of a horrible accident unscathed, you can't convince me that you wouldn't want that car in the long run.

Even though I hate seeing that on TV, because it reminds me of a couple of bad experiences, I would want a car as safe as they claim theirs is.
