multiple people I've told this to: "What?! That movie is AMAZING! Everyone learns their lessons in it! It's SO GOOD!"

me: "The acting was good. There were good scenes in the movie. But there was really no plot to speak of, just a bunch of random things that were happening, and then the coincidences at the end were too much for me."

multiple people: "You're missing the point though. There's a REASON those coincidences happened. And blahblahblah"
