the good:
+ fight scenes were well-choreographed
+ anime sequence.
+ music. i'd really like to know how much input the rza had. i know only one of his songs was used, but apparently he helped find the source music as well, and i wonder how much was his and how much was tarantino.
+ the sets! the miniature of tokyo .. ahhh, i started laughing during that scene. QT is a madman.
+ vivica fox in those pants. we wholeheartedly condone this behavior.
+ the direction. very stylized and they pulled off multiple styles really well. definitely had that b-movie feel at times, but he nailed other ones throughout.
+ SONNY CHIBA
the bad:
- dragged at points. the house of blue leaves scene could have been tightened up a little, but only a minor quibble.
- why they gotta be like that to sophie?
- some ppl are talkin mess about an epilogue at the end of it. i sat through all the credits. where the fuck's the epilogue?
overall, i loved it. first time i saw it, i got excited everytime i thought about it, so i went back and watched it one more time. what a flick. loved it.
