I respect nerds and geeks and am one myself in several areas. I am NOT anti-nerd. Obviously I am pro-nerd, look at the guests on my radio show.

What I don't respect is the part of nerd/geekiness that's about 13-year-old shit. If you're going to be unhealthily into something, it should be about something substantial, about art, however you might define it. Not just about what you liked when you were 9.
