Like I said, it's like a plagiarized version of Goodfellas. It's got a lot of what Scorsese does best... pretty pictures, good music, swearing, violence, etc. But it just doesn't add up the way Goodfellas does, at all.

And I actually don't like the coked-out wife storyline in the flick, it feels old hat-- and I think Sharon Stone chews the scenery appropriately, but the only reason people say she's excellent in it is because she's so bad in everything else.
