I think that is a very big "unless." Who's to say that Jay is actually trying to make a statement? I'm sure that all the rappers wearing crosses and Jesus pieces aren't proclaiming to the world that they are Christians. Who's to say that he didn't just rock the shirt because he thought it looked good. I'm not trying to debate what he was thinking because I just don't know. I can, however, listen to his lyrics and judge him by what he says.
