9892, capitalism promotes underground economy...

by hadicapping those rat-race runners born poor. the have-nots unfairly start miles behind the haves, and the only way they can catch up is by running three times harder or taking short-cuts (which can get them disqualified). unfortunately the have-nots are only human, so running three times harder is not possible for all. some find short-cuts (at the expense of the rest of the have-nots), but most of the cheaters are thrown out the race. most continue running with their all, but start to give when they realize that the gap between the haves and have-nots is not narrowing but widening (the extended length/harsher condition of their track takes it's toll on their endurance). when it comes time for the have-nots to relay the baton to their kids, they pray they are blessed with a fast anchor b/c the team is usually farther behind than before.

capitalism determines what lane we run in. and being that it is competitve by theory, it is designed to have a small winner's pool. while it has its superficial pros, it is no way to run a nation, which is in essence a community. there is no unity in competition.
