capitalism only allows a handful of people to reach legal financial success (it can't work any other way: a proletarian minority cannot support an upper-class majority), and when people can't make money legally, they doolow. i wasn't asserting that legislation promotes this (the ethos of capitalism does that on its own), but since you brought it up, laws are indeed in favor of the wealthy (¿and why wouldn't they be? they pay our politicians for them).
