These laws were meant to protect women from being left poor if their man dropped them for something a little younger and cuter.... BUT...

I'd say she's entitled UP TO half if Jordan was leaving her. In that situation, it's assumed she's been trying to make things work but MJ wants to move on. Doesn't mean GIVE her half.

But she's living him. Which means she feels she can do better (in life... not financially) without him. So let her go. He'll support the kids but nothing else.

Anyway the moral of the story.... Be wary marrying someone with more knowledge about money than you. She's a banker so I'm sure she made sure her name was next to his on EVERYTHING.
