some more Yoruba proverbs/lessons in life:

Atunwe/atunwi is the Yoruba term associated with incarnation.

Lesson:
Knowing what you do in this world prepares those who come after us. More specifically, to give birth is the highest from of worship or homage to those who’ve come before us.

Also in Yoruba world:
There is no belief that things (knowledge) can be lost because spirit is eternal. (e.g. predispositions/personalities reflect this.)
