"we knelt and chose our destiny and we came to the earth and became impatient".
this is a Yoruba proverb used for people who become impatient with life and a perceived lack of blessings. Therefore, it is wrong for us to not allow the ancestors to guide us and to use our ori(head/intuition) to live a life of iwa pele (life of good character.) so that we can have suuru (patience).
