you are so right

i think another part of the problem is people not putting down roots anymore. you don't KNOW 1/2 the people in your neighborhood 'cause everyone's moving every couple of years. our parents' generation has more of a sense of what it is to stay at a job for 20 years, be homeowners (or at least aspire to it), etc.

the values of the society as a whole have changed.
