Taharqa Kiambu, the coordinator of the Malidoma Some' lecture and ritual from 2-3 weeks ago, is under Dr. Some's tutelage, to become a shaman. He is trying to meet with Dr. Some' in Oregon, for a two-week training. He is looking for assistance to make this trip, in terms of donated frequent flyer miles, or monetary donations. Taharqa's goal is to use his training to bring aspects of indigenous spirituality to Baltimore.
