Lots of reasons, the main one being the UK has a diff culture than ours.
What's different?
- A much. much, much older society,
- Typically more educated,
- less affective reasoning and more cognitive reasoning,
- and a lot more appreciation for the subtle.

1) "real choice"
2) a change the very nature of our culture.
