I understand what you're saying and I think we're on the same page in a way but the truth of the matter is black is black and just that. Asians aren't black, Arabs aren't black and a bunch of the others you mentioned aren't black. To be black imo = of or pertaining to negroid descent.

Still, I'm more concerned with the other minorities or rather the lack of prominent speakers or ppl even in my community and as blacks as a whole speaking out on behalf of Native Americans and other such minority groups lost in the mix. I think its only fair that even on this board other aspects need to be brought to light.

I just feel sometimes its easy to forget that its not just one race vs. another race in the movement..
