I am going to list a particular topic in the subject line. People will reply to that subject with reputable books, for interested readers on the subject.

The criteria for reputable is as follows
1. Makes a significant contribution to the body of knowledge.
2. Has not been supplanted by a more recent work making the old invalid or obsolete.

If this project proves to be successful, this can be a resource for offering people a wider view of important issues. I'm sure I will not cover all areas of inquiry, so sit on it for a day and then feel free to post your own topics. Depending on the topic some will be more specific than others.
