i'm not really sure what the answer is on this issue. on the one hand, you've got this group whose album is called "hooray for boobies". their fanbase consists of the same folks who think the insane clown posse are talented artists. so how seriously are we supposed to take them?

on the other hand, this would be yet another example of how whites seem to be able to get away with making racist comments when it's in the form of a joke. personally, i did not know about this song until i read this thread, and i would not have thought of the bloodhound gang as anti-asian. (incredibly stupid and a potential waste of oxygen, yes, but not anti-asian.) however, when ice cube had "black korea", even people who didn't know the first thing about hip-hop thought that cube was a misogynist who hated asians. so why does the bloodhound gang escape censure? i'm not going to insult your intelligence with the answer.
