WHAT ARE YOU DEDICATED TO?

Recently, I've dedicated my working self to stopping the spread of HIV.

My best cousin (who's 3 mos older than I) has been HIV+ for about a year now. It shook me more than I can say when she caught it. She's str8, loving, gifted, talented and wonderful. I never thought SHE'D end up where she is...poor, single mother, HIV+, w/o a college education. It's amazing. The fact that she caught it means I'm not doing enough to educate ppl. As much info as I have about HIV, I assume everybody knows what I know. I guess I'm wrong. That has to stop.

The only thing in my way is my inability to make commitments.

I haven't started the job yet. But I've already learned the govt is nothing but big rolls of red tape. *sigh*

Knowing that I'll be contributing to our betterment.

The greatest sorrow is that ppl just don't effing get it. Condoms + water-based lubes + communication...it's not that hard.

I don't know. I haven't really started yet.
