Black people did not gain economic independence from the civil rights movement...in fact there was a higher percentage of wealth owned by Blacks PRIOR to the 1954 Brown v. board of ed. decision. The civil rights movement was a new matrix...the system starting itself over and with tighter (mental) mechanisms for control. yall ever ask yourself why black kids were willing to get spit in the face, hit with debris etc...escorted by guards to go to school in 1954 but 50 years later nobody wants to go...
