1. HIV, the human form of SIV a disease only known in animals until 1950's, was allegedly developed by the Wistar Institute here in Philadelphia. The scientists were developing a vaccine for smallpox, but used a monkey or chimp I forget which one , but anyway the animals they used had the disease SIV. There were recent inquiries about the vaccine. They even went as far as testing what was left of the 'original vaccine' . I don't think anyone would keep samples of a vaccine that has killed millions of people, the lawsuits would have been overwhelming. The Us government backed them in some kind of way , so they would have been liable also.
