If you ask a bank for a loan, that's part of the capitalistic system.
If you think a person, simply based on the fact that he has a lot of money, has an obligation to set aside a portion of their money to help out those less fortunate, that's socialistic.
I shouldn't have to point this out.
You can talk community building (which is at the heart of socialist and communist doctrine) all you want, but what is at the basis of all this is the belief that these successful people should be spreading the wealth. Irrespective of potential profit (because subsidizing farmers surely isn't a great money-making venture). I'm just point out the relation between the concept of community as presented in the original post and the tenets of socialism.
Before you start questioning someone's intellect, sit back and give the topic some thought.
