I wish you would, because I don't get the term in the way you're using it. I mean, I know what the left half of my brain is, and I understand what is generally meant when referring to the political left. But I don't see how my response to your post falls into either of those descriptive catagories. But maybe that's the subject for a different thread.

Me too. And that's the only reason I even bothered to respond to this. Believe it or not, I'm on your side. And I'm tired of the same old shit too. But here, and lots of other places, this type of rhetoric, however heartfelt, IS the same old shit, provoking the same old predictable responses on both sides of the issue.

I was just trying to give a slightly different perspective, get people to think about the issues differently.
