What is the origin of the Shriners' Flag?

The Flag of the International Supreme Council of Shriners, Inc.
Many Shriners do not know that when they see the shriner's flag flying that there is a historical reference to those colours. They being black, red, yellow, and green. Many countries used these colours. Guinea, Guyna, Ghana, Mali, Zimbabwe, Senegal, Sao Tome & Principe, Rwnada, Ethiopia, Grenada, Cameroon, Burkna Faso, Bolivia, Benin. Those colours span you can see on flags all around the world.

The original countries to become Shriners countries are four: 1 Canada, 2. America, 3. Canal Zone "Panama", and 4. Republic of Mexico.

Most Euro Shriners fly these Flags and you can find their description in their constitutions. Afro Shriners many used these traditional colours also.

Ques: What is so important about these colours?

Ans: Shrinery is based on as you know as an Arabic order. Generally when they say the Arabic order, we have a mistake. That is because next to none of the Shriners, speak fluent Arabic. So when you hear names like an Ancient Arabic Order or Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order, that should say the Arab order or The Ancient Egyptian Arab Order. Because Arabic of Arabia is the language. The word Arab comes from the root letters "iyn ( ﻉ) ra (ﺭ ), ba ( ﺐ) arb"(ﺏﺭﻋ ) ﺏﺭﻋ ) meaning "to wonder to roam about to move from place to place".

The biblical history of Arabic language, if it is to be believe or accepted, creates a dilemma. Because it will take you back form Muhammad to the tribe Banu Kinanah form the Quraysh all the way back to Kedar (Gen 25:13) as Muhammad declared in the hadith himself being of the tribe of Kedar, also you will find this confimed in the book "Dictionary of Islam by Thomas Patrick Hughes, P.D. M.R.S. page 216 under "Ishamel" it states and I quote: "Muhammad is said to have been descendents form Ishamel second son Kedar (Qaidar) through one named Adnan. "

Kedar according to the bible was the second son of Ishmael. And Ishmael was the son of Abraham (Gen 15:16) who had an Egyptian wife named Hagar.

Genesis 16:3 "...And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife."

This is what the Torah or the book of Genesis says, and what all theologians of the bible teach and the New Testament confirms it. It tells you that Hagar pick a wife for Ishmael from Egypt.

Genesis 21:21 "...And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt."

Ishmael sons of Abraham and Hagar didn't not marry a Hebrew woman. He did not marry a Syrian woman or a Chaldean woman, the tribe that which his father came from. He married an Egyptian woman. This is all leading to teaching you where the Arabic language comes from the Koran teaches Muslims to believe in Taurat (ﺓﺍﺮﻭﺗ) (Koran 3:2) the Arabic name for the Torah or the first five books of the Bible.

All Muhammadans believe the Koran is the unquestionable word of Allah and in The Koran 2:136 it states "Make no distinction between the prophets nor the holy books." And the Torah is one of those books mentioned. So in repeating myself the Torah teaches you that Sarah Abraham's wife gave him Hagar, an Egiptian woman.

And that This Egiptian woman bore a son to Abraham who they named Ishmael "god will hear" Gen 16:11-15 a Chaldean name because a man named Nethaniah also had a son named Ishmael confirming that Ishamel is a Chaldean name (Jeremiah 41:18). He received his named as a babe at the naming ceremony, they named him what was to happen in his future. That being, his cries to God would be heard in the wilderness (Gen. 21:17) and be directed to the well of called by Muhammadans Zem Zem.

Even zem zem is not an Arabic or Hebrew word. There is no equivalent to it or no root that can be traced Zemzem in either Hebrew or Arabic. In fact, Zem zem is an Egyptian word meaning "stay stay". According to Johnson Arabic Dictionary, Zamm! Zamm! (ﻥﻤﺯ ﻥﻤﺯ) translate "stay; stay" this is what Hagar called out in Egiptian language to prevent Ishmael from wondering. So the very word Zem zem as used in Islam is not Arabic its Egyptian.

This is what Hagar who spoke the Egyptian language seeing she was a grown woman when Sarah gave her to Abraham, said to her son Ishmael while she was looking for water in the dessert "stay stay". Hagar went under distress call out to God for God to hear her. Having left Abraham house, the great patriarch and having been influence to some sort by his God who was El and retaining the fear of her own Egiptian god Ra " the all eye seeing" she called out to the God as El Roi and they name the place after that in the Bible. (Gen 16:14) So she combine the God of Chaldea "El" and the God of Egypt "Roi" which is written Ra pronounce as Ray, Roi and this was the birth of a new dialect which became what is known today as the Arabic language.

The definite article in Hebrew is Ha (ה), "the"; the definite article in Arabic " Al" (ﻞﺍ);ﻞﺍ); The definite in Egiptian is " pa" or "p". The name El Roi created the used of the definite article "Al" in the Arabic language and this Al is interchangeable in what Arabs called "Sun letters" and "Moon Letters" showing a historical relationship to moon and sun worship.

Ques: So just where did the Arabic language comes from?

Ans: If the Bible and Koran are to be believed, if the story of the lives of Abraham, Sarah and Hagar, are true, then Hagar created the Arabic language, as a combination of Egiptian and Chaldean. Egiptian her own language and Chaldean the language of Abraham her husband. And being Ishmael is known as the father of Arabs or the Ishmaelite; as Jacob is known as the father of Jews or the Israelites, So the language of the Israelites became known as Hebrew. And the language of the Ishmaelite became known as Arabic.

So in Hebrew they say " shalome ( shalome (Mlv )" with a " sh" . And Arabic they same "Salaam ( ﻡﻼﺴ)" with just an "s" they both Meaning "Peace". In Hebrew they say "Beth ( " with just an "s" they both Meaning "Peace". In Hebrew they say "Beth ("Beth (tyb )" and in Arabic they say " bait (ﺕﻳﺒ )" for house. As anyone can see these are the same language or dialects of two ancient languages. Ancient Egiptian and Chaldean married under Hagar and Abraham and Ishmael thus spoke a combination of which resulted in the Arabic. They both have in their roots in Genesis 10"Ashuric" for Arabic, "Aramic" for Hebrew.

Arabic is a dialect of Chaldean and Egiptians. So Muhammad being the descendants of Abraham and Shriners identifying with these two cultures Islam and Egyptology, present on our emblem, the colours of our flag comes from the colours recorded in Islamic history hadiyth, and sunna, The traditional, colours that the prophet Muhammad wore. And this is recorded in their Mishkat books that Muhammad wore. The colours that Muhammad prefer to wear, were black, as cloak and then yellow green, and red. The wearing of white in the Muslim world was adopted by Muslims after their first migration to Ethiopia, in the 5th year in the month of Rajab, which is recorded in Islamic history about how the first Muslims were influenced by the Coptic Christians of Ethiopia called "Negus" who to this day still wear white robes, white turbans, prostrating in prays and used prayer bead and call their house of worship "mose". Their language being Amharic or according to Dictionary of Islam by Thomas Patrick Hughes, P.D. M.R.S. page 92 under " dress" it states and I quote

"...the following are some of the sayings of the prophet in regards of dress. The dress of the prophet was exceedingly simple. He wore only two garments. the izar ( ﺭﺍﺰﺍ) (under garments) which hang down 3 or 4 inches below his knees. and mantle thrown over his shoulder. these two robes with the turban , and white cotton draws completed Muhammad's wardrobe. these dress was generally of white, but he also wore green, red, and yellow and sometimes black".

It should no longer be a mystery to us Shriners where the colours of our flag comes from. Simply the colours prefer by the prophet Mustafa Muhammad Al Amin. born 570 A.D. died in the year 632. fathered Fatima Bint Khadijah born 610 and died 633 A.D. Fatima the daughter of the prophet became the wife of a blood relative of Muhammad name Ali Ibn Abu Taalib, whom all of us Shriners know as Khalifat Ali misspelled in our hand books as "Calif Alee."

Our noble flag let it fly high and be proud of the ancient origin in such a noble family as the Banu Kinanah tribe of Quraysh of we as Shriners represents. Protectors of the holy and holy places. Remember our true purpose is found in the book of Revelation Chapter 12

1. We are here to one protect that woman clothed with the sun with the 12 stars on her head.

2 We are here to protect that woman that she shall give birth to (Christ) child (verse2)

3. We are here to block that dragon (verse 9)

4. We are here to war against the 1/3 of the heaven (verse 4) fallen angels that came to Earth with the Dragon. (verse 3)

5. We are here to make sure that the Dragon does not devour that child (Christ) (verse 4)when he is born for he is to rule all Nations with a rod of Iron he is caught up to God in his throne. (verse 5)

We Shriners have a true purpose, we are not just a fraternity, club, organization, or religion. We are here to usher in with the Arabs call Al Masih ( ﺢﻳﺳﻤﻟﺍ), the Jews call Ha Mashiakh (xyvmh), and what the Christians called the Christ.

Are you preferred for this great tasked oh Shriners?

"...and the Rulers take council together against the Lord and against his annointed."

So who are you Dear Shriner?

Luke 2:13-14 "...And Suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of heavenly host and saying. Saying "Glory to god and the Highest and on earth peace good will toward men."
