can you explain the origins of hajj?namely,did the act of pilgrimage(which each muslim should do atleast once)originate in islam itself?if not,where did it originate?

since muhammad is an upright figure and an example for all men,is it o.k. for muslim men to marry children?reguardless of how smart the child maybe.this question wasn't answered before.
