yes he did marry her at a young age, but he did not consumate the marriage until she reached puberty.

i didnt think so.
alot of ppl dont consumate their marriages right away for whatever reasons.
theirs are just as valid, if not even less so than muhammad's (saws).
if you have anything that says otherwise: he consumated the marriage the next day, when she was 8, etc.- then feel free to post it.

btw, puberty is not the same age for everyone. and even puberty in some places is brought on even earlier than in others.
when was the last time you saw a prepubesent girl that looked like she was grown?
