I hadn't thought of it that way...but I did think that explanation was lame...

In a perfect world, yeah, we could beat up white folks for calling us "nigger" when we use the word like it's going out of style. But at a time when we're still fighting getting lynched (u do remember Mr. Byrd, don't you?) & brutalized on a daily basis, we need to keep that on the low. We can't do everything in front of everybody (remember that post about what needs to be kept "in house"?)
