I've been thinking about 5% ideas and I was starting to come to the conclusion that it's used as a tool to boost black's self esteem and give them confidence in their lives, because they are faced with many hardships from their skin color. Is this partially true?

So if it's purpose is to boost one's self-esteem, then what philosophical and spiritual qualities does it redeem? (besides the supreme mathematics)
