i know--i plan to be apart of it.

hell, i already am apart of it.

maybe i can be the new millenium ntozake shange or bell hooks or something.

some young women (not just black young women) think that feminism starts with hairy legs and and ends with lesbianism.

if they read some of the feminist literature out there (like "for colored girls..." or a few bell hooks essays, and maybe even some joyce carol oates) they would know that this isn't so.

perhaps a neo-feminist book club would be neccessary. it would educate us about what feminism really is.

So... I

this shall be me and a other young black women all over the country that are making the same observations. i really believe that.

i'm sayin though!!!! :-)

i believe some men are needed in a feminist movement. not necessarily in workshops and conferences, but moreso for support.

women have supported men in almost every American war, every American movement.

it is now their turn to support us. trust and believe.
