In my experience I have seen two types of racism. There is the most common kind that is based upon propoganda and misconceptions, but there is another kind. My brother-in-law has had some dealings in his past that he has let affect him. Due to how he generalized from these events, he has a low view of any black person. However, he has realized that has happened and is trying to reverse it, especially since he has seeds of his own. He knows his hate is wrong but he still feels it but he tries very hard so that his seeds won't grow up to know things as he does. That's not excusing how he feels, just explaining how he feels.
