I felt as though there was a lot of unfulfilled potential in the book -- like Tameka just drops off the face of the earth, or as you pointed out, there was room for development of Tony's relationship with his mother.

That being said, though, everything need not be in a single book. I just figured there would be some fallout in Spanish with Tameka. I didn't really picture her as being one who would walk away quietly, nahmean?
