particularly for a TV audience...
I mean you read stuff on Zonal Marking and you think "this is terrific, and makes perfect sense to me" but then stop and realize that it's all based on dozens of assumptions that may or may not in fact be true.
That there are so many bodies in constant motion, over such a vast area for such a long virtually uninterrupted period of time, makes it really difficult to perceive what decisions have been made by managers (nevermind players) and the impact those decisions have had on the proceedings.
