i'm not even sure the deal was OFFICIALLY done
usually players have to pass physicals and all of that before anything is locked in stone
but i agree that it shouldn't have even gotten as far as it did
the problem is Demps has to operate and construct these trades under some degree of anonymity since he answers to all the other owners and there will be conflicts of interest etc if he gets owner approve first and then proceeds wit a trade
