The very first experience pro athletes have being a "pro" is being drafted.

You really have no say in the matter...you go where they want you, not where u want.

If you want to play in a certain place, you play out the contract u signed, and once ur a free agent, THEN you choose where YOU want to play.

If the contract is still in place, you have no rights to demand anything....play out ur contract!

You signed it; it's ur obligation.

Once ur contract is up, you are free.

Indentured servitude, yes....but thats the way of professional sports.

You get paid millions.....

The trade off is lack of options while under contract....BUT....you're highly compensated for any inconvenience in the meantime.
