in other words, if a deal were to be struck that would put the hornets in a position to win big, the owners can conceivably knock that down as well. this is a clusterfuck and a huge conflict of interest for a ton of reasons. teams have the power to cockblock a deal that can improve a rival team. i wonder if there is a legit legal issue ther.e
