It'll be weird the first time it happens. Just think about the possible scenarios - there's gonna be years where the divisions aren't decided until The Game, so you'll have to win it for the honor of playing a rematch the next week. The neutral field thing is gonna be insane - I'm just imagining what the environment would be like in a championship game with the fans split half and half. The thing that will suck would be the fact that in an evenly matched rivalry it's really hard to beat the same team twice, in back to back weeks. If there's a split, you're gonna have teams copping pleas on both sides - the winner if The Game is gonna say that the regular season game is the one that matters, and the winner of the chip is gonna say look at the rings.

Whatever happens, if both teams are competitive it'll be fun.
