Gomes has a way of making it look like he's better than he is... but 39ks in 34 games... ummmm no
Smith is more of a national league 4th outfielder/pinch hitter type player... I have Jack Cust flashbacks whenever he's out in the field. It's not that he's awful but with where we are right now we can't justify carrying a vet who's upside in that minimal.
