All he was doing was explaining how he was taught to throw that route (to protect the receiver from gettin his head flown by the Free Safety), and what his receiver was supposed to do on that route (to make the corner hafta go thru the receiver to make a play on the ball).

IMO he broke it down more than it needed to be just to show that he understands how to play the position.
