Shanahan's schemes allow for success with the running game (take a look at Helu/Royster last year and Morris this year), but pass protection, I guess, is a different animal?
Shanahan likes a particular type of lineman (quick and on the lighter side), to run his zone block system, but is that a flaw, when it comes to pass pro? And is that why the rolling pocket a big part of his offense, because the smaller quicker linemen can't sustain standard drop-backs?
Also, I assume this is where quality/talent comes to play, so I'm definitely looking forward to them addressing the line in the near future.
