for the raiders, what, this is going to make you contend? you have one of the five worst rosters in the league in terms of talent 1-48. you're not winning shit this year. keep the pick and, you know, try not to spend it on a guy who will be available 20 picks later.

for the pats, this smacks of arrogance. i will buy the pats fan's argument that this guy is overrated. still, if you're trying to win a super bowl, why are you trading someone who can be a solid contributor off your defensive line when you have a team designed to win now? there's no guarantee brady is still at his peak in 2011. it seems like the Pats are just assuming they can win with whatever this year and keep building for the future. unless seymour looks completely awful or there's some huge thing the public doesn't know about, keep him and make your run.
