Coming off of a major knee surgery, not playing at all for 6 months... those aren't easy things to come back from.

The British was a major blemish, but if he wins the PGA that means in the 14 months since his injury, he won 6 events, including a major and 3 wins in a row, and finished in the top 10 in every tournament he played in except the British and the match play very early in the year. That's 11 of 13. Nobody does that... and he wasn't even playing that well until late July.

That's damn good, and nobody else in the world recovers that quickly to have a season as good as that. Compare that to probably the #2 player right now, Harrington, who made a few swing changes after last season. He missed 6 cuts this season and made 2 top 10's, last week and this week.
